The lodge nestles in an evergreen forest. It is secluded amongst the indigenous trees. It gives a feeling of anticipation for fairies and other woodland creatures to welcome you in their beautiful surroundings. The mist creeps through the forest giving it a mystical atmosphere.

 

The forest gives complete privacy. It is a place where visitors can feel at one with nature. Sitting on the patios, of the Log cottage or Log Cabin, one can hear the mountain stream bubbling by. Bird parties visit as well as samango monkeys that forage in the trees. It is a peaceful place where work stress takes a back seat.

 

There are two different accomodations available, the Log Cottage and the Log Cabin.  Each sleep four guests.

There are short walks along the mountain stream. Picturesque waterfalls may be visited. A more strenuous walk takes one up through the forest to a beautiful view of the valley. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy these walks. Many forest trees may be seen.

 

Mountain Bike Cycling can be enjoyed along the forest road to the main road. This is about a 5 km return trip to the lodge.
